At The Moment|Trusting God through this Season

Hi my loves!

This week I decided to bring back the At The Moment series. In case you’re seeing this for the first time,

this is a series of questions which I answer according to what’s happening in my life at the moment, quite literally. Apart from accountability on my side, it breeds a little catch up with you guys. So let’s get into it…

At The Moment

Currently: waiting on God. There’s a song that says, “I wait for you just like a watchman waits for daylight” that’s how anxiously I’m waiting on God. I’m in a season where I am about to make a HUGE defining decision, and I don’t want to do it alone…hence why I’m anxious to see or hear what God has to say about it.

Appreciating: friendship. Now more than ever I realize that friendship is not just about “let’s have a good time and chill” friends play an important role in my life. One thing for sure is that no one can survive on their own, (to song references) no man is an island…we need each other and so I have been realizing how grateful I am for the gift of genuine friendship.

Working: on a very exciting project! When I launched this website in July, I mentioned that I would continue to unveil more stuff; the time for another launch is drawing near and I can’t wait to fill you guys in. I’m currently in ‘phase of labor’ the kazi ya mkono (my Kenyan peeps) and a lot of strategic work, so it’s more tiring than exciting, but the Bible says, “…your labor is not in vain in the Lord…” so I’m at peace because I know I shall reap the fruits. In all that I do, I strive to acknowledge God because He enables me.

Feeling: overwhelmed. With emotions and work. I hate to do this but allow me to leave it at that. I shall talk more about this in the near future, for now, I’m still being brewed.

Obsessing: over anything rose gold. Like, where has this color been? I think it’s very sheek and classy, and beautiful. I really love it.

Loving: Steven Furtick. His sermons just seems to be customized for me in this season; two days rarely pass by before I listen to him, even just for 15 minutes, his messages bless me so much.

Eating/Drinking: I knew I would encounter this question, so before I sat down to work on this blog post, I grabbed some yoghurt- the Delamare Pear Caramel, which is slowly becoming a favorite by the way. Anything with caramel is dear to me. You bet!

Trying: to engage with you guys more. Apart from putting out content for people to consume, I think it’s important to interact more closely. I like it when we have a conversation with you, some of whom I have never met, and they say they got something from me. However small. It really blesses my heart to know that I can be of impact to someone. Moreover, I can also get something from you. The idea of a small community gives me joy.

So apart from my email (This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.) here’s a number you can reach me through, WhatsApp- +254 81 918 520

Feel free to engage with me; feedback, questions, pretty much anything you think I could be of help with, I’ll be glad to hear from you.

Looking forward to: the weekend! Which honestly makes me so happy, especially of late, for few reasons. One, I get to work on Chebet Makena, the brand, full time. Two, I get to sleep for a few more hours, and I get to do fun things. Lately my weekdays are just ‘meh’ (forgive me if you don’t understand that word) so I really look forward to the end of the week.

So my loves, that’s it for today’s blog post; thank you so much for hanging out with me for those few minutes, I hope you don’t regret? Let’s do this again next Friday; I’m stoked about next week’s post.

PS. My WhatsApp Broadcast List is live; if you wanna be part of it, drop me a WhatsApp text on the number above, and I’ll be sure to add you :)

Love & Hugs!
